Marion and Jen feel so lucky to once again be part of the Colin Hope Charity Swim this summer on August 17^th. This will be our 5^th summer swimming – all to raise funds for this amazing foundation. This year we are swimming for the Metro family and their son Clay, whose survival of a non-fatal drowning incident at the age of 3 - in which he nearly died by drowning in a community pool, changed the course of their lives. We are swimming in their honor and for their efforts to now help empower parents with the knowledge and skills to save lives through CPR. 

Sadly, drowning is the number one cause of death for children under the age 4. These are preventable, with your help and donation - in any amount - for our swim, for Clay and his family, for Colin's Hope. 

Colin’s Hope was founded when Colin Holst, who at the age of 4, just like Clay, drowned in a local community pool with lifeguards and family members all around. Fueled by their desire to prevent such tragedy from happening again, the Holst’s founded Colin’s Hope www.colinshope.org to promote water safety in their community and to educate children, families and lifeguards on drowning prevention.
