Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for children under 5 and the leading cause for ages 1-14! While no-one is drownproof, drowning is preventable!
This year on Friday, August 17th, WE (Bill, Lisa and John) will be participating in our first (but not last!) Colin's Hope Got2Swim 10K Lake swim. We will take turns swimming/kayaking/SUP 10KM as part of a 3 person team to help raise funds and bring awareness to water safety and drowning prevention.
NO donation is too small and 100% of the funds raised go directly to Colin's Hope's mission. Stocking and restocking life jacket loaner stations, providing safety classes and swim lessons to preschool children and providing water safety education to parents/families/communities are just a few ways your donations will be used.
