Reid and Marion (that's us!) are lifelong swimmers and share joy in being amphibious, regularly swimming in some Austin's most beautiful pools, lakes and rivers. Between the two of them, it's estimated they may have swam enough to circle the globe...twice (or so we brag)! Now, let's see if their years of training have prepared them for their latest adventure. 

Come August 16th, Lake Austin will never see such a mightily talented team rip through its waters, as Reid and Marion swim a 10K (that's many, many miles people!) to raise money for Colin's Hope. Colin’s Hope was founded when Colin Holst, who at the age of 4 drowned in a local recreational pool. The Holst’s founded Colin’s Hope to promote water safety in their community and to educate children, families and lifeguards on drowning prevention, and are making an incredible difference in water safety and for families.

Aside from the raw speed and power Reid and Marion are going to demonstrate in the water, they'd love to significantly reduce Texas drownings everywhere (Texas lost 72 children last year!) by helping Colin's Hope raise money for their many initiatives. Drowning is the number one cause of death for children under the age 4. These are preventable, and with your help and donation - in any amount - for Reid and Marion's swim we can reduce drownings together.
