The world around us has been changing, but one thing has stayed the same...people continue to drown each and every year.

I have been a part of Colin's Hope for many years because part of being an open water swimmer is promoting, teaching, and practicing water safety.

Since we can't all swim together this year, I have decided to take on a big challenge (as long as water remains available to swim in).

For the month of August I will swim 50K. My goal will be to accomplish this through weekly swims and then one long swim the last week of August, but if I don't reach the mileage...it might be a really long swim the last week of August.

I look forward to the challenge and look forward to doing my part for Colin's Hope!
